Even if i try one of the other teams accounts connected to the same exchange, same result. This is a major issue. It means you can not be the administrator of meetings without going in and changing your default outlook account before inviting people to Teams meetings, and restarting outlook.
What i ended up having to do for the use that created the meeting was click meetings options from within teams. The account which was signed in was different from the account which created the meetings and this caused a problem being identified as the host. I also have this issue. Come on Microsoft, figure out how to let people with multiple emails accounts use your products effectively. I have this issue even when I am using my default account. Every once in a while I get lucky with no rhyme or reason, but I consistently can not access my own meetings and this is unacceptable expect I have to accept it as MS will do nothing to fix it.

My employer was acquired and we were migrating from one tenant to the other tenant What i ended up having to do for the use that created the meeting was click meetings options from within teams. It opened a website. The website said they did not have access to the meeting options. Pasted the URL in to the private browser window Signed in to their other account. In reply to GregMcF’s post on September 25, I have had 4 or 5 sessions with Microsoft techs. At the end of it, we manage to schedule a meeting that works. It takes about 45 minutes to work through it with them; so that is not a solution for a daily basis.
I think I have developed a half-measure that seems to work hopefully will continue to work. When I have a meeting on my default account which is the account for which I am an administrator , I sign out of everything Microsoft and then I log onto the default account through my web browser.
The desktop app seems to trip up. But if I have signed out of everything and then go to Teams online and only to the account with the meeting, things seem to go as planned. Not a great solution; but at least I can host and join meetings. In reply to Laura’s post on September 25, I have found a much simpler and complete solutuon. I now use Zoom instead.

If the host joins the meeting by phone dial-in:. You must specify an alternate host to start the meeting or turn on the Join feature in front of the host. You can not dial in as a host to start a meeting unless it is a personal audio conference. If you select a non-periodic meeting, the meeting information is displayed. Tap Start to start the meeting. Review Zoom’s system requirements and ensure your system meets these recommendations. For musical content, applied lessons, or other situations where preserving audio quality is important, you can change Zoom’s audio settings to minimize automatic adjustments such as gain, extended frequency response, and echo cancellation.
While turning off automatic adjustments can preserve the natural sounds of music, singing, or spoken word, it also requires meeting participants to position their microphones and speakers properly, and to manually adjust their microphone levels. Good conferencing etiquette is also important with these settings; participants should use headphones when possible and mute their microphones when not speaking or playing.
These are advanced features; the instructions below assume you have basic knowledge of Zoom and your computer’s audio and video settings. Remember that each participant will need to adjust their settings to transmit natural sound. But we tested and tried to get to the bottom of this for 7 hours and we definitely tested this both logged in and not logged in.
